It is forged using premium quality Iron (Sarabloh), because when it comes to utensils that one eats from, there is no compromise with quality.

The main purpose of this utensil is to serve beverages such as lassi, food, milk or tea etc.

Iron (Punjabi: Sarabloh) is a preferred metal to use for utensils in Sikhism. It is believed that it helps reduce Iron deficiency in one’s body.

Since it is made of iron, it is prone to get rusty over time unless taken care of. Put some oil on it to create a layer between the surface and open air.

If any rust is found overtime on this Bata, it is Preferred to use Lemon syrup or Sand to rub for few times to clean it.

After wards apply a small amount of coconut oil to provide a shiny look. This will act as Anti-corrosive.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:

1.      Wash the Bata well with regular dishwashing soap.

2.      Dry the Bata Thoroughly.

3.      Lightly oil (Coconut) and heat the Bata. (The oil helps prevent rust)
