Kachera Tericot or Kachehra or Kacchera Number 14 Tie-knot (Nale Wala) Color-Brown
This
number 14 Kachera comes in white color and made of pure cotton. It is specially
designed as per the standards of traditional Kacheras. It is light in weight
and very gentle on the skin. Suitable and comfortable for both genders.
It comes with a 35 inches waist and 12.5 inches Poncha, giving you enough space to be comfortable. Crotch is 10 inches wide and height from middle is 13.5 inches.
This is tie-knot (Punjabi-Nale Wala) Kachera.
Kacchera
or Kachera (ਕਛੈਰਾ) are
specially tailored, undergarments with a tie-knot ("naala") or
sometimes elastics worn by baptized Sikhs.
It
is one of the five Sikh articles of faith called the Five Ks (ਪਂਜ ਕ੍ਕਾਰ) and was granted from Guru Gobind Singh ji at
the Baisakhi Amrit Sanskar in the year 1699.
Kachera
have been worn by Amrit Dhari Sikhs (Khalsa) since a mandatory religious commandment
given by Sri Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru of Sikhs, in 1699.
Both
male and female Sikhs wear similar kachehras. This is one of five symbols of
faith—collectively called "Kakkars"—that form the external, visible
symbols clearly and outwardly showing a person's commitment and dedication to
the order (Hukam) of the tenth Guru.
