The word kirpan comes from two words which translate as mercy
and bless. The kirpan is supposed to be a used as safe guard and for defence
while it is practiced during Gatka Training.
It comes with a red colored scabbard or Cover, decorated
with metal pieces having artistic designs on them. The Kirpan has a slight
curve to it.
The Scabbard or Cover comes in a bright red color
complemented by golden metal pieces and a chain.
This artistic ceremonial Sona Chandi Wood Kirpan serves the
purpose of being used in sacred Sikh rituals where there is a need to put forth
the importance of it in Sikh culture.

for Sikh Marriage ceremonies. It is usually carried by the groom as a part of his
