History of the Jats - Book By Hoshiar Singh Duleh

History of the Jats are one among the primary Books on not only the culture of Jats but also gives detailed knowledge of 101 sub-castes of the Jats. Consistent with the author's History of Jats is the original History of India. This book not only provides knowledge to the common reader but I strongly believe it's one among the simplest reference books on Jats for any historian or researcher.

The writer brings to fore the very fact that Jats have always been custodians and defenders of kingdoms and therefore the country. He also laments a scarcity of documentation regarding the role of Jats in creating history as we all know it today. Starting with Aulakhs, to Varaichs, the book is predicated on years of research. He begins with an introduction of Jats as a primitive Aryan clan that predates the Mahabharata, Ramayana, Rig Veda and even, the Bible.

He further points out that tons of the characters from the Mahabharata, including Duryodhan, belonged to the Jat dynasty. He makes the history interesting by interspersing it with anecdotes just like the one about Bhallan tearing a robe of honor given by Akbar to Mansur to point out his right over the villages being divided. Another interesting story is about Rai Khanda who merged with Jats and his wife who vowed at Naina Devi that she is going to tonsure her child twice if the kid survived. The kid was subsequently named Do-Lat (double lock) that finally morphed into Dullat. Read it for several interesting facets of history.

This book contains 101 chapters, which have been gracefully written in English.

The physical appearance of this book is unique with an eye-catching graphic image. It is 8.5 inches long, 5.5 inches wide, and approximately 0.8 inches thick.

The Quality of paper used to print this book is premium, which ensures a rich and satisfying reading experience.
